Early Voting
Early voting allows all registered voters to cast their ballot in person prior to Election Day. No excuse or reason is necessary to take advantage of early voting.
Early voting for the 2022 GENERAL Election:
Thursday, September 29, 2022 – Monday, November 7, 2022
Monday – Friday 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Saturday, November 5, 2022 – 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 pm
Location: Randolph County Courthouse
The Courthouse is closed on Monday, October 10, 2022, in observance of Columbus Day.
Grace Period Registration & Voting
Anyone NOT registered to vote in his or her current jurisdiction by Tuesday October 11, 2022, must register as a GRACE VOTER and vote at the designated early voting location.
GRACE PERIOD registrations must register AND Early Vote at the same time.
Grace Period Registration & Voting is available from Wednesday October 12, 2022 through Election Day.
Vote By Mail
Vote by Mail applications can be obtained in person, by phone, or on-line (link below). Upon receiving the application, the voter completes, signs, and returns it to the election authority.
Once voter registration status is verified, a Vote by Mail BALLOT will be sent to the address indicated on the application (your permanent address or another address). After the ballot is marked, you may return it to the election authority by MAIL or deliver it IN PERSON.
If returned by mail, VBM Ballots must be postmarked by Election Day – November 8, 2022.

Thanks to the new Federal MOVE Act, it is now easier than ever for military families and overseas citizens to vote. Click here – http://www.fvap.gov to access the Federal Voting Assistance Program site, where you can complete, print and sign a downloadable registration and absentee ballot request form.
